Take your bandage off after 1-2 hours. Wash your tattoo using warm water and a liquid antibacterial hand soap. Rinse and let air dry. Once your new tattoo is dry, you can apply a thin layer of Vitamin A&D ointment or Aquaphor ointment. Do this 2-3 times a day for 3 days. Finally switch to using an unscented hand lotion 1-2 times a day for the following couple of weeks or until healed.
